I learned that the first few times I had to pre-pub my site's blog while I was away. It made things SO much easier not to have to worry about it. Michelle - I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one that does this. Once I do today's post, I'm going to at least do one for tomorrow since I'll be in the air most of the day. Jon - *eek* a boy!!! Haha, welcome! I typically set my site's blog to go live around 2:00AM (pacific) so it's all ready bright and early. For my own blog, I tend to set it a bit more realistic, like 10:00AM so it doesn't look so obvious. Good idea about the yearbooks and old photos. Now if only I could get my scanner to work with the Mac *grr* Lisa - you totally rock! I'm going to have to check them out. Prior to NaBlo, I would read most blogs a couple times a week. Now, since I'm hoping for comments as well (shameless, I know), I'm trying to read daily. Of course, this is much easier to do with the blogs that have RSS feeds. And I almost always "pre-publish" and make things go live at just after midnight, even if I wrote them earlier in the day. That's how I roll. :-] Plus, I found my old junior high yearbook. I think I could post every day for a YEAR, just from that thing alone. Though a couple cringe-worthy photos per week will do, I think. :-] I admit that I’m been “stocking up” a couple things.
