I don't know how I feel about Palin and her ability to mother her sweet new baby. There is a documentary of her parenting while being governor and she did a lovely job. She seemed very normal and relaxed about the whole thing -- taking it in stride and parenting with relative ease while working full-time. The truth is, I think that with the right support system and attitude -- it could be pulled off. She has a loving husband, strong marriage, and close family to support her in raising her children.

But who knows?

I don't know her personally or anything.

Love your blog!

Blessings!
Lacy

RazorFamilyFarms.coms last blog post..Spring in Your Step

Thank you for visiting the blog! I'm always so relieved when I see comments on a post. I have a deep, dark fear that I am pouring out my life and my heart to no one. It's all very scary!!

:)

Anyway, I'm glad you liked the pictures from the spring. It's a nice spot for a hot summer day in Georgia.

Blessings!
Lacy

Thanks for stopping by Lacy. I think a loving husband, a strong marriage and great family support will most definitely be needed in helping to raise a child with special needs. It's hard work, crazy hard work (and as I said, I've only been involved as a teacher, a behavior specialist and a trainer for care providers and family members). I've seen how challenging and time consuming things can be in the best and the worst of family situations.

I'd think without hiring a team of caregivers, that being the VP, or being a CEO or even a principal of a school would be crazy, insanely difficult to do. Add to that bringing in a second newborn and wow, that's going to be one full house with a lot going on.

I do wish her the best and hope she finds a great team to work with her - I'd hate to see her try to be "super woman" and tell herself and everyone that she can do it all herself (including helping to run the country). Talk about biting off more than one can chew.

PS - love those photos from the trip to the spring. Beautiful, messy and fun! What a perfect day out!
