First and foremost, I’m really looking forward to it. I’ve loved checking out new bloggers and making some new blogger buddies. There’s some good stuff out there. I’ll post my list of blogs that I’m following if you post your list.
I have to wonder though, with this whole once a day thing (at least twice for me since I’m also doing 30 Days of Gratitude posts) how bad would it be to either pre-publish or go and back-date stuff. Typically, when I go on vacation, I like to pre-pub stuff. But if I can’t, or I can’t get to the computer (I hate bringing two laptops with us, so we share) that leaves me with the option of back-dating stuff.
I guess if I didn’t say anything, no one would probably notice, but I’m just curious if anyone else will be doing any behind the scenes stuff to get it all out there on a daily basis. Anyone?
Pre-publishing sounds very efficient of you. 🙂
I might be doing the pre-publish thing myself – write some posts and set them to launch at a future date. I don’t have as much time for blog posting lately – last year I wasn’t working during NaBlo, so I had an easier time of it.
I admit that I’m been “stocking up” a couple things. And I almost always “pre-publish” and make things go live at just after midnight, even if I wrote them earlier in the day. That’s how I roll. :-]
Plus, I found my old junior high yearbook. I think I could post every day for a YEAR, just from that thing alone.
Though a couple cringe-worthy photos per week will do, I think. :-]
This is my stalking list. Not all of them from NaBloPoMo, but they’re good reads. And yes I read them everyday. Work? What work? 🙂
Anitra – it’s all about efficiency baby! I learned that the first few times I had to pre-pub my site’s blog while I was away. It made things SO much easier not to have to worry about it.
Michelle – I’m glad to know that I’m not the only one that does this. Once I do today’s post, I’m going to at least do one for tomorrow since I’ll be in the air most of the day.
Jon – *eek* a boy!!! Haha, welcome! I typically set my site’s blog to go live around 2:00AM (pacific) so it’s all ready bright and early. For my own blog, I tend to set it a bit more realistic, like 10:00AM so it doesn’t look so obvious. Good idea about the yearbooks and old photos. Now if only I could get my scanner to work with the Mac *grr*
Lisa – you totally rock! I’m going to have to check them out. Prior to NaBlo, I would read most blogs a couple times a week. Now, since I’m hoping for comments as well (shameless, I know), I’m trying to read daily. Of course, this is much easier to do with the blogs that have RSS feeds.
