Did you know that Monday, September 29th is National Coffee Day? I don’t know about you, but I don’t need much of a push to celebrate this holiday. Well thanks to blogging about National Coffee Day last year*, I have some treats to help you celebrate…
Five lucky winners will receive $5 gift cards to Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. The only catch, you have to be somewhere where you can actually spend your CBTL gift card…like in Southern California. If you fit that requirement, than just leave me a comment letting me know your favorite thing about coffee.
One for me, Five for you!
Using random.org, I’ll pick the winners Sunday night and drop those cards in the mail on Monday…National Coffee Day!
Enjoy!
* I’m telling ya, I’m totally digging on being a blogger and getting contacted with free things to giveaway and share with others.
This blogging gig rocks!
I LOVE Coffee Bean’s Double Vanilla Tea Latte (NSA)….It’s so yummy and warm. Perfect for the cold weather we experience here in SoCal (smile).
Did you redo the blog??? It looks great!
I love the smell of coffee brewing in the morning!
Jenn, have you tried the Winter Dream latte? I love, love, love them!!! So much that I have to buy a new tin of Winter Dream each new winter. Sooooo good.
Adrienne, even before I ever learned to enjoy coffee, I’ve always loved how it smells when it’s brewing. In fact, I don’t think I ever really enjoyed a cup of coffee until I had a cup of Kona. It actually tasted as good as it smelled…heavenly!
Sounds like we need to make a date and go to Coffee Bean!
I know, Yoga, then Coffee Bean!
I like my coffee like my men: dark, intense, sweet, robust.
Ohhhh. Coffee. How could I ever live without thee? I couldn’t!!! It is my favorite part of my morning ritual. I just love the smell when I’m grinding the beans. Ohhhh.
And I had no idea that Monday was National Coffee Day, so thanks for telling me!
Having my first cup of coffee in the morning is like a celebration. The smell gets me excited and the first sip… alleluia! Both my body and brain come to life, happy, satiated and looking forward to another great day. I luv luv luv my first up of coffee!
Hey, I celebrate National Coffee Day every day!
Just one favorite thing about coffee? It’s not original, but I’ll have to go with the aroma. And I love the smoothness when I get the blend of coffee, flavoring, and creamer/milk just right.
Florindas last blog post..Book talk: "Love Is A Mix Tape," by Rob Sheffield
You don’t even know how much a free coffee would make my day! **fingers crossed!**
Although, I must say I’m very sad that CB&TL doesn’t have their pecan praline flavor this Fall. That was so YUM last year!
Oh whoops- I didn’t say my favorite thing. Coffee is my friend right now with a little guy. Seriously, I don’t know how I would get through my days without it. My favorite thing is the mental pick-me-up it provides.
If only I drank coffee!! I did have the most delicious blueberry something or other blended (Coffee free) drink at Coffee Bean once. Yummy!
Alaias last blog post..Cleaning should be easy.
My favorite is simply a latte sprinkled with cinnamon powder. I have been drinking tea quite a bit more since it is lighter and easier on the tummy. 🙂
Pegi – does that mean you don’t add cream? I don’t think I could do coffee without sugar or cream. Blech!
Sarah – so now you have an excuse to meet a friend for coffee on Monday. It’s a holiday don’tcha know 😉
Mutki – you crack me up. Remind me never to talk with you before your first cup!
Florinda – I’m with you. It’s not just the aroma (though, damn that’s good stuff!) but it’s also the right blend of flavors and sweetness.
Erin – I noticed that too. I thought that maybe I was just jumping the season a bit. But then I reread my post from last year where I mentioned the Praline. Hmmm….
Alaia – don’t worry, I only drink coffee when I’m out. At home, I only drink tea. I love tea! And I love the Winter Dream lattes at CBTL during the holidays.
Kristine – do you still add milk and sugar to your tea? As a Jersey girl, I love black teas with milk & sugar…mmmmm.
