I made it five days and nights, but it’s been long enough. I’m ready for my husband to be back home. I dono’t know how you ladies with husbands that head out on regular business trips do it. Let alone those of you with kids. My pets are driving me crazy enough – the dog is barking non-stop, the cat wakes me up every single morning at around 7:00, crying for an hour or more until I finally give in and get up.
I’m exhausted. I’m actually getting less sleep with him gone (thankyouverymuch CharlieCat). I’m eating crappy food – though thankfully, not crappy fast food. I’m not staying focused enough to actually get anything done. Really, I’m just ready for him to be home and for a good night’s sleep.
Thankfully, he’ll be home later tonight.
But first I have my Mastermind meeting, then I’ll head over to LAX to pick him up. I can’t wait. And lucky me, he’s off next week, so he’s ALL mine! Though I’m still waiting to see if I got the co-teaching job and to see if I get to hang out with him in San Jose.
Oh yeah, I also still need to figure out what to get him for his birthday on Wednesday…but he’s home today…woohoo!
Okay, that’s just too friggin adorable. You make me actually see the benefit of having a sig other for more than just the sex.
And I agree – cats have such and impressive way of making one’s life hell before the sun comes up. If only they weren’t so cute when they sleep.

Come to think of it, cats ARE cute as hell when they sleep! Now that the hubs has been home for the week, we’re back to normal and he’s not waking me up quite as early.
