Questions, So Many Questions

I’ve noticed since I’ve started Twittering that I don’t seem to be blogging as much.  So my first question…is this normal?  I mean does everyone cut down on their blogging since they now spend time updating the masses (ha!) via Twitter?

One of my best friends from high school is getting married in June.  I can’t wait.  Obviously, I’ve been shopping for that perfect outfit.  Another one of my best friends (back from my teaching days) has written a great blog post for my site about living as an ex-pat.  My other bestest friend (from my days in the desert) runs a touring business.  All of this brings me to my next question…do you still, as a grown adult, refer to your friends as your “best friends”?  More importantly, do you have more than one best friend?  I do and I love them each with all my heart (and to be honest, I’m not a big fall of calling them my “best friend”)

Does anyone else have a (totally irrational) fear of moths or other flying insects?  I know they can’t hurt me, but dammit if they don’t freak my ass out.

The husband is off to see Springsteen tonight and tomorrow.  Solo.  I already saw the show the first time around (and believe it or not, pretty much hated it – it was totally a show just for his die hard fans).  Of course, this time around the set list is amazing and well, I’m not going.  That kinda sucks.  No question here, though I still am intrigued by what you all wear when you go to concerts (I was totally under-dressed and not sporting nearly enough cleavage at Bon Jovi on Friday).

I know I work from home and really, honestly have no excuse for my house not being spotless, but alas, it is not.  When my hubs got his killer raise, I told him that I wanted to get a cleaning lady.  It’s been nearly a month now and while I’ve gotten a couple of names, I’ve yet to actually call anyone.  Dork that I am, I’m still not sure I can completely commit to it without feeling like a giant faker for having someone come in and clean while I’m sitting here in the office poking around online working.  Anyone use a cleaning lady and have any words of advice?  Any suggestions on how to clear off the tops of my flat surfaces (like the dressers and tv unit) before the cleaning lady gets started?  Have I mentioned the piles of CDs?

And on to my last question…is it just me, or does anyone else have an over abundance of under garments?  I can barely get my drawer to shut I have so much crap, but to be honest, I rarely even wear half of it.  In fact, most of it is either too big now (woohoo!) or still just too small (grr!)  How does one deal with this sort of mess? Hell, half my wardrobe seems to be either too big or just too small.  And don’t even get my started on the  mess that is my sock drawer.  I’m thinking that if I actually took the time to clean out just these two drawers, I might actually be able to pass on an extra drawer to the hubby.

I would say yes, it is normal to cut down on blogging when you first get started with Twitter. That’s what happened when I started, anyway…especially since I had my twitter updates also updating as blog posts. I moved them to my sidebar and then my regular blog posting picked back up a bit.

Good to know because I was actually getting worried there for a moment.  I felt like I was all blogged out.

Moths scare the living daylights out of me.  I hate the bastards.  I have been known to scream a rather girly scream when one of them has flown at my head.

OMG Riayn me too!  Same with giant mosquitoes.  My grandmother used to think it was the funniest thing to tell me that either a moth or a giant mosquito was on me.  Freaks me the hell out I tell ya!

I still refer to my BFF as my best friend.

My sil went to Bon Jovi in Orange County over the weekend too – I think in Orange County.  Of course, she went the prior week as well, in Denver.
I would get a housekeeper in an instant if I could, lol.

I’ve got best friends from different walks of life too, but only one true best friend (that I’ve had since high school) that I refer to as such. I know when we’re old ladies, we’ll still be best friends! Good luck with finding the perfect outfit for your friend’s wedding.

I have that same issue with my undergarment drawer. I really need to just toss some old stuff. Why does my bra size fluctuate so much!? (Not a question you can answer, clearly!) I usually wear jeans to shows. Totally cutting edge, I know. 😉

Twitter: I find I do less “short blogging” because I can Twitter those things that likely would have been one-line blog posts before.

Best Friends: I have more than one “best friend” & they are just all referred to as my “closest friends”. Period. I don’t love any one of them more than the others & I would be lost if even one of them were gone.
